Welcome to the LEGACY OF LIFE Website

Through the legacy of donation...
- a child can recover from painful and disfiguring burns
- vision can be improved or restored
- defective heart valves can be replaced
- a person can walk without a limp
- a woman can heal faster from reconstructive plastic surgery after a mastectomy

and hundreds of other life-changing and saving situations where people in need are generously given the hope of a better life.

Did you know?
One donor can touch the lives of over 100 recipients. Becoming a donor is perhaps the most gracious thing a person can do in life to ensure their generosity continues after their passing.

Legacy of Life is accredited and in good standing with the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) and is in compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations which govern tissue banking.

A 63 year old grandmother is diagnosed with severe peripheral vascular disease, which threatens the continued use of her leg. Faced with amputation, this woman chose the implantation of a saphenous vein from a donor. The resulting successful surgery gave this woman the opportunity for an active life for many years to come.
